Ann Webster owner of Big Lyle's party & event entertainment is now an official member of The Kalamazoo Chamber of Commerce. This has been one of the best decisions I have made for our company. I have been welcomed at networking events, invited into new networks, given leads I would never have gotten and have met many entrupenures and upbeat people. I recomend checking out a Chamber in your area if they are as involved as the Kazzochamber JOIN! lol

January 2012 Blast! Business Accelerator Program of coaching and training groups begins.
What is Blast! Business Accelerator ProgramBlast! Business Accelerator Program is a business growth initiative for women entrepreneurs in the Greater Grand Rapids area. It is an initiative of Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence (CMI), the leading not-for-profit provider of resources, education and community for women entrepreneurs, in partnership with Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women (GROW) and funded by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation. The goal of the program is to provide focused support, training, coaching and accountability to 30 Grand Rapids-area women-owned businesses, toward reaching the quarter-million dollar annual revenue mark. The 30 women will be:
Divided into cohorts of 10 led by a professional facilitator in a curriculum of twice monthly, 75-minute group coaching and training conference calls. Provided with all of the tools and resources needed to systematically chart their revenue growth and put into action everything they are learning in the program. Expected to attend monthly in-person Meet-Ups to hear from selected speakers and network with potential customers, vendors and business peers. Over the course of the year, these 30 entrepreneurs will be guided to take that crucial step from just being in business to taking control and charting a course for maximum success.

2011 has been a good year for Big Lyle's Party and Event Entertainment. We have had the opportunity to work with other really good event companies, added new clients, worked in new venues and added two more Far-Out Photos, green screen photo units to our services. We're starting 2012 with a Business Coach "People Biz Inc" from our Count Me In! Org.
Feeling Blessed

I just want to put out the word to other business that thumbtack.com has some really cool options I found helpful. I really like the craigs List tool. The site helps you create a listing; photos and all. The best part is once it's made they send you monthly reminders to re list. The email is set up so you just have a few quick clicks and your post is re listed. I use it to keep my Green screen event photography constantly on the South West Michigan event service page
I also think this is a great service for musician. I recommend you check it out

While it's great to see that yourwebsite is pulling in visitorsfrom around the country and maybe even around the world, you don't wantto waste the time or resources worrying about leads and inquiries thatyou can't possibly follow up with. So, how do you ensure you are doingeverything in your power to pull in those valuable visitors from acrosstown? Check out this list:

PARENTS PRESERVE MEMORIES IN LUE OF HARD TIMES FOR 2010 GRADUATES
It’s about to happen across the state. Graduation time is near, excitement, high hopes and yes looking forward to the future in spite or the gloomy economics. Parents and students have the same dreams as those of previous years. This should be that moment in time to be celebrated; remembered and rewarded it’s a time of tradition a right of passage moving from childhood into the adult world. As part of that transition parents of high school seniors in schools large and small across Michigan come together to organize a great send off in safe alcohol free celebrations for their graduates. With names like Grad Bash! Senior Celebration! Senior All Night Party! You can bet this is no small event or small undertaking. Done in a variety of ways from renting hall, YMCA’s and campus field houses to transforming the schools them self into one big dreamland decorated from floor to ceiling hallway after hallway I would mention more of their creative ideas but the events theme and location are kept a secrete to add to the excitement. It takes a committed group that starts planning the how, what and where of these events even before the school year begin. And the HOW are we going to raise funds has been a bit harder for obvious reasons this year yet they preserver and through inventive thinking a lot of self sacrificing putting together tail gate parties, father daughter dances, poker games, carnivals, raffles, 50/50s car washes, cakes, cookie, flower and sub sales recruiting local companies and stores to invest in their future customers. They are our future too. Let’s encourage these young people the graduates of 2009
help them celebrate this big event in their life by supporting the local Graduation Celebration.
Call your hometown high school to what you can contribute.
